Mr. Lehavi is founder and CEO of Pitch LLC, a tech startup. Prior to launching Pitch in 2018, Yanay was Executive Vice President of Technology at PIMCO for 17 years, where he built PIMCO’s global trading, portfolio management, compliance and operations technology.
Before PIMCO, Yanay held tech management roles at Bloomberg LP and Goldman Sachs. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, and a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College.
Dr. Aaron Low is CEO of LUMIQ and a director of Lumen Advisors in San Francisco and Singapore. Previously, Aaron was Head, Portfolio Management of Asia at PIMCO, where he oversaw Asia investment strategies and managed global and emerging market investment portfolios and was also Head of Asia for RCM Global Investors in San Francisco and Asia, managing balanced portfolios. He was nominated for the “Most Astute Investor” award by The Asset and was part of the Emerging market and Global teams which won several Morningstar and Lipper best global fund awards.
Aaron was Chairman of the Board of Governors at the CFA Institute and also served on the Board of Trustees for the Singapore Government Pension Fund. He is currently a Board Advisor at the Wealth Management Institute and also senior adviser and board director to Asian funds.
Aaron has a PhD in international finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and completed the Director Consortium programs at Stanford and University of Chicago. He also holds the CFA charter.
Simon is a luminary in the investment industry and the founder of Lumen Advisors, a global macro hedge fund. Prior to Lumen, Simon was CIO, global EM debt at Dresdner RCM Global Investors and portfolio manager at Soros Fund Management for the Quantum Emerging Growth Fund. Prior to that he was CIO for EM Fixed Income at LGT and Global Strategist for Putnam's fixed income group where he began his private sector carrier. Simon spent almost a decade at the IMF as an economist, and prior to that spent two year at the European Commission as an economist working on technical assistance for South Sahara Governments.
Business Week named Simon the “Best Manager of the Year” and his Fund was awarded the Five Stars ranking by Morningstar. Global Fund Analysis named the Lumen Global Value Fund the best Relative Value Strategy. Simon developed the market expected return vector system, which is at the core of the Value Compass engine used in our platform.
Simon sits on the Advisory Board of the MSc in Financial Analysis and Investment Management Program at the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary's College. Simon holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Milan and a degree in Electronics Engineering from I.T.I.S. in Vimercate, Italy. He is fluent in French, Italian and English, proficient in Portuguese and some Spanish.
Jim is the founder of Sterling Investment Advisors, LLC, a private client investment management firm. He has over 25 years of experience in wealth management covering the entire investment management process. Jim was a tenured Assistant Professor at Southwest Baptist University teaching Economics and Finance.
He has served on the CFA Institute Board of Governors from 2010-2016, serving a term as Chair of the Planning Committee. Prior to his Board service he was an eleven-year member of the CFA Institute Council of Examiners, serving three years as Chair. In 2008 he was awarded the CFA Institute C. Stewart Sheppard Award.
Jim has a BS in Economics/Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University, and an MBA from the University of Arkansas. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.
Mahmood has worked in banking for almost 30 years with postings in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. He spent most of his career with Dresdner Bank AG in the Financial Markets and Treasury divisions.
He has experience in multi-currency Asset and Liability Management, Fixed Income, Structured Products (equity, credit and interest rates) and Foreign Exchange, and was involved in both the trading and advisory functions as well as being part of the senior management team. He has started Financial Markets operations for two banks and his last role was to build and run Capital Markets and ALM for Asia for a major German bank, which included overseeing macro risk management.
Like other team members, he has also successfully navigated the economic and market cycles whilst performing his various functions for the banks and the clientele. Mahmood holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the National University of Singapore and an MBA in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Yuit Chieng has over 35 years of investment and business experience in a diverse range of financial institutions. Her career has spanned portfolio management, investment banking and wealth management.
She pioneered indexing and ETFs in Asia, having served as Regional Director at Barclays Global Investors and Managing Director at Vanguard Investments Singapore. She is a consultant at Heuris Consulting Pte Ltd, a firm she set up in 2014 to provide consulting and project management services to financial services companies in the areas of business strategy and operational infrastructure.
Yuit Chieng holds a Bachelor of Social Science with Honors in Economics & Statistics from the University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University.
Rainer worked on the Lumiq platform from the early days of its development. Prior to Lumiq, Rainer was Head of Group Technology, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, for the ANZ Bank in Australia. He was the Technology Director for RealTime Gaming Pte Ltd and Chief Technology Officer for Knowledge Engineering.
Rainer graduated with a Masters in Technology Management from the University of Queensland, Australia and a First Class Honors Degree in Computer Science from Melbourne University, Australia.
Christian has over 17 years of experience in the fields of Corporate Identity, Software Innovation, Concepts and Cross Platform Development.
He has worked as an Art-Director and multi-skilled Concepter, Designer and Developer in lead positions for companies like SAP, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, designaffairs, Sabre, DEKRA, Adobe, Aramco, BMW and others.
Some projects he has worked on have earned Design & Usability awards. In several cases, he also value-added in rebuilding the company’s foundation to re-access new business models.
Christian is the Chief Designer for the Lumiq Platform.
Aleksey has worked in frontend development for more than 5 years. He has experience with all aspects of web technologies including single-page applications, high load projects and data-driven projects with a rich frontend.
He has worked previously as full stack engineer for the Relex company (Russia) and as a senior frontend developer for Bitpool company (Australia). Also, Aleksey had been leading a small frontend team before he came into the Lumiq platform.
Aleksey graduated Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from the Voronezh State University.
